Overview of the Water Meter Replacement Program
The City of Leduc is upgrading a number of residential water meters to ensure all customers in Leduc have the same standard meter technology.
If the meter at your residence or business has been identified for replacement, it will be upgraded at no cost.
ICONIX Waterworks has been contracted by the City to install the new meters for commercial and residential properties.
Beginning in March 2020, the water meters will be installed in a section-by-section basis. The project is expected to be completed by the end of June 2020.
Update on March 16, 2020:
The City of Leduc and ICONIX Waterworks continue to closely monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. The City is taking proactive measures and has requested that ICONIX suspend meter installations for one month, effective March 19, 2020, to help prevent the spread of infection in the community.
While the risk to local residents of contracting COVID-19 remains low, the health and safety of our communities is and always will be top priority for the City and ICONIX. If you currently have an appointment scheduled, the ICONIX team will be in contact with you when meter installations resume.
