This strong relationship came into play when Borger needed assistance with its sanitary force main project from Airdrie to Calgary, AB. ICONIX's unparalleled expertise in water and wastewater systems offered Borger a cost effective, one-stop solution for this project.

ICONIX Waterworks designs and builds pre-engineered packages that meter, control flow, reduce pressure, isolate systems and prevent backflow for optimum system operations. Borger recognized the value of ICONIX's wastewater systems for this project. Not only did ICONIX offer technical integrity and experience, this solution would also reduce construction time as pre-engineered systems require approximately one to two days for installation on site, compared to a timeline of up to three weeks to construct and install on-site.

An agreement to build 15 pre-engineered systems was established. Historical winter weather conditions was an added challenge to the project, but with a solid commitment to customer service, ICONIX delivered as promised, on time and on budget. The resulting partnership saved Borger approximately 40 per cent of capital costs.
