October 2, 2023 – Crane Supply and ICONIX Waterworks are excited to announce the consolidation of the waterworks business specific to the Ottawa branches.

Effective January 1, 2024, the Crane Supply waterworks (termed as “municipal” at Crane Supply) business specific to the Ottawa location will relocate and operate under ICONIX Waterworks at 2446 Leitrim Road Gloucester, ON K1T 3V3.

As part of this transition, Michel Lachance from Crane Supply will be transitioning to the ICONIX Gloucester location, where he will continue to support waterworks customers that are currently serviced by the Crane Supply Ottawa branch. Michel has more than 30 years of waterworks experience servicing the Ottawa region and will have the support of 12 ICONIX Ontario branches moving forward.

The two subsidiaries of the Deschênes Group made the strategic decision to consolidate the Crane Supply Ottawa waterworks team with ICONIX Waterworks with the goal to better align our resources, talents and expertise, while also capitalizing on the numerous synergies that exist between our two companies. By joining forces, we are confident that we will not only strengthen our market presence, but also enhance the value we bring to our waterworks customers, partners and the communities we serve in the Ottawa region.

Crane Supply’s core pipe, valves and fittings industrial side of the business will continue operating in their respective markets.
