Monday, February 1, 2021 – Effective February 1, 2021, HB Jaeger is now officially ICONIX Waterworks. 

HB Jaeger, a distributor of underground water and wastewater utility products throughout Central and Western Washington, was acquired by CORIX Water Products in April 2016. Despite the acquisition, the company chose to continue operating under the HB Jaeger name, as the former owners had created a leader in the waterworks industry over 21 years and the name was so well known in the greater Seattle metropolitan area.

After the more recent changes in ownership in 2018 (the acquisition of CORIX Water Products by the Deschênes Group) and the subsequent name change of CORIX Water Products to ICONIX Waterworks in May 2019, the company now feels it is time to make the switch. 

“We are very excited for HB Jaeger to start a new chapter as ICONIX Waterworks, and as part of the Deschênes Group. The ICONIX trade name better reflects our business and service offerings and links us to the rest of the ICONIX family,” said John Henkels, VP and COO of ICONIX Waterworks US.

Although the HB Jaeger trade name is changing, customers can continue to trust the team for the local service, knowledge, accessible inventory, and real solutions that they’ve come to expect over the past 24 years.

• Herb Braicks and Bob Jaeger formed HB Jaeger in 1997, operating out of Burlington, Snohomish, and Tumwater in Washington State.
• CORIX Water Products (then part of CORIX Infrastructure Inc.) purchased HB Jaeger in April 2016.
• The Deschênes Group purchased CORIX Water Products from CORIX Infrastructure Inc. in January 2018.
• CORIX Water Products announced its name change to ICONIX Waterworks in May 2019.
